TERMS & CONDITIONS

PAYMENTS:

1.    Session prices are subject to change, Any unattended sessions from termly packages are non-refundable or carried forward unless cancelled by Gemma Bendle. For individual sessions, if you're unable to attend there is a 50% refund @24hrs notice to the scheduled session. Individual sessions are fully refundable for notices given before 48hrs prior to the booked session. 

2.    There will be a start-up registration fee requirement of £10 per child and £20 per adult, this price is subject to change. This payment is to secure your place with Gbendle Roller Skating and to cover start-up costs. A registration fee is a one-off payment that is required whether you book individual sessions or packages, EXAMPLE: If you book one session and pay the registration fee, then in future want to book another one, you will not pay another registration fee.

3.    All payments must be up to date to participate in the sessions. Any late payments will include a fine of £5. There will be a grace period of 2 weeks from when the invoice was sent.

4.    If sessions are booked termly you will be invoiced per term excluding the initial month which will vary from person to person depending on sign up fees and trial fees. If paying for individual sessions, payment at the door or invoicing is offered, please let us know your preference.

5.    The customer must be over the age of 16 years to be Invoiced.

6.    To book an 'Extra Service' package, you have to have attended at least ONE session prior to booking to asses skating level.

7.    There will be a 14-day cooling-off period. If you wish to cancel your registration to Gbendle Roller Skating within your first 14 days of joining you must tell Gemma Bendle and fill out the cancellation form and return it within 14 days of being given the form, this will give you a full refund, anything after the 14 days will not give you a refund. The refund includes any unused sessions and your registration fee, any sessions participated in will NOT be refunded.

8. Uniform: No jewellery, hair must be tied back, sports clothing is essential.

9. Behaviour: any disruptive behaviour, abuse or bullying will not be tolerated at the sessions. Gemma Bendle reserves the right to dismiss anyone who doesn’t conform to these regulations after having handed out a written warning to the participant or parent.

TOE STOPS:

1.    Toe stops must be rubber, with no metal showing in the middle. Black rubber toe stops are disallowed as they leave marks on the floor.

SKATES:

1.    Skates must be artistic quad-skates as there are no provisions for other types of skates. Any questions please contact Gemma Bendle for more information.

CENTRE RULES:

1.    Centre rules must be adhered to at all times.

2.    Centre management including Gemma Bendle reserves the right to refuse entry to anybody within reason.

3.    All users of the hall must follow relevant signage at the centre at all times and adhere to instruction of the staff members where given.

4.    Anyone deemed to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol will not be permitted to skate.

5.    Please ensure you arrive 10 minutes before your session starts so you have time to warm up and put your skates on and be ready for the session start time.

PARENTS/GUARDIANS/SKATERS:

1.    Parents are to avoid involvement in sessions where their children are taking part, unless asked to do otherwise. This is to prevent confusion and to avoid injury.

2.    Parents aren’t obligated to stay for the duration of the sessions but are expected to be on-time regarding drop-off and pick-up times, please arrive 10 minutes before the session starts to help put on skates and 10 minutes before the session ends to avoid delays and hold respect for the next bookings using the hall.

3.    Gemma Bendle reserves the right to refuse entry to any parent within reason.

4.    For any safeguarding issues please complete the Safeguarding Referral Form and send it to any of the GBSA Safeguarding team. 

 

5.    All paperwork handed out to you by GBendle Roller Skating, must be completed before your first session.
